Flooding in Germany
After three days of travel the roads turned into rivers. It was the worst flood in centuries and it happened the moment I arrived.

I waited it out (as if I had a choice) in a small hotel on top of a hill in Hartmansdorf. After four days the rain had sort of stopped and the water level had gone down enough to be able to see where the road was.  It took hours to find a border crossing that was open and a road that went to it.

I wanted some adventure, but had never thought it would come that soon.
